Job summary

Institut Curie seeks an Image Analysis Engineer (Bioimage Analyst) to join the Cell and Tissue Imaging Platform (PICT) in the Genetics and Developmental Biology Unit. Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in bioinformatics, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with bioimage analysis and quantitative image data.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a research setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for research teams regarding image analysis needs and support them in defining appropriate strategies
• Design, develop, and deploy custom analysis tools for projects requiring specific developments
• Independently manage image analysis projects, from needs assessment to validation, documentation, and transfer of solutions
• Collaborate with scientists to extract and interpret biological parameters from multidimensional imaging data
• Contribute to writing and preparation of scientific publications with research teams
• Develop image analysis solutions with broader applicability beyond individual user projects
• Promote sharing, dissemination, and mutualization of tools and workflows within Institut Curie
• Design and deliver training in image analysis for PhD students, postdocs, and other trainees
• Keeping up with technological developments and contribute to networks
