Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to own the end-to-end bid management process across EMEA and global markets. You will lead the development of persuasive, client-focused proposals in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Product and Operations, delivering compliant tenders that clearly communicate value.

Qualifications

• English C2 proficiency is essential.
• French C1 or C2 proficiency is preferred.
• Any other European language is preferred but not essential.
• 3–5 years experience in PR, journalism and/or bid writing across any industry is essential.
• Advanced MS Word skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential.
• Certified to APMP Foundation/Practitioner Level is preferred.
• Education to degree level is preferred.
• Experience with proposal automation software (or similar) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full bid lifecycle from qualification through to submission.
• Leading bid planning sessions and coordinating cross-functional proposal teams.
• Writing, editing and enhancing proposal content that showcases strengths and differentiators.
• Developing proposal structures, executive summaries and customer-focused responses.
• Ensuring all submissions are compliant, professionally presented and delivered on time.
• Building strong relationships with internal subject matter experts and senior stakeholders.
• Maintaining bid governance, document control and quality standards throughout the process.
• Coaching and supporting colleagues on proposal best practice and persuasive bid writing.
