Volta software’s Connect team is building integrations that connect client ERPs with our platform. As a Back End engineer in this team, you’ll talk directly to clients before coding and then implement robust Python-based backend integrations.

You'll join pre-kickoff meetings with French clients, design scalable data pipelines, and own the delivery lifecycle from specification to go-live, while collaborating with the CTO in Italy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong Python experience for production systems.
• Proven ERP, REST API, or data-pipeline integrations.
• Strong SQL skills across PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and API design patterns.
• Comfortable in client-facing meetings and discussions.
• Ownership mindset; proactive and outcome-driven.
• Based in France; fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Lead pre-kickoff meetings with French clients to map tech stacks and define scope.
• Design and develop Python backend integrations connecting Volta to ERPs and data pipelines.
• Own the delivery lifecycle from spec through go-live.
• Troubleshoot issues to ensure a smooth client experience post-launch.
• Provide client insights to the product team to shape the French market strategy.
