Job summary

Resilience Care, a French company focused on remote medical monitoring and AI-enabled healthcare, is seeking a Backend & Applied AI Engineer. You will develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Python, contribute to AI-enabled features, and help improve performance and reliability.

Initially ~75% backend and 25% Applied AI, with expansion possible. You will work with a cross-functional team based in Paris and remotely from France, collaborating on CI/CD, testing, and production

Qualifications

• Backend services in Python
• Design and evolve APIs
• Work with databases and data-processing workflows
• Use Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Understand latency, throughput, concurrency and resource consumption
• Integrate an AI model or LLM API into a product

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Python.
• Work with the rest of the team, to deliver product changes end to end.
• Measure and improve processing time, scalability and backend architecture.
• Strengthen testing, CI/CD, observability and production reliability.
• Collaborate with the Applied AI Engineer, particularly on PR reviews and backend integration.
