Norbert Health in Paris is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own and evolve the backbone of our healthcare robotics platform. You will lead domain-driven backend architecture, consolidate APIs, and scale for hundreds of devices and EMR integrations.

You will collaborate with AI, firmware, Android, product and operations teams, own compliance, cybersecurity, and privacy, and ship features with high craftsmanship in a fast-moving, international team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years in backend development (5+ years aligned to role).
• Strong Python coding skills.
• Experience with AWS and Docker.
• Experience with MongoDB and API design (NoSQL, REST).
• Experience architecting multi-service systems.

Responsabilités

• Architect and implement a unified, domain-driven backend across multiple interconnected systems.
• Own and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure for IoT devices.
• Design and maintain APIs—internal, enterprise, and streaming from devices.
• Build healthcare interoperability connectors (EMR integrations).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Own compliance and security posture: documentation, cybersecurity, privacy.
• Make critical architecture decisions that will define how we scale.
