Job summary

Harmattan AI is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join the Computer Vision Tracker team at an early stage, contributing to a global 3D Object Tracking pipeline. You will work across the Computer Vision, Sensor Fusion and GNC teams, with opportunities to influence technical direction from Paris.

Based in Paris (with flexibility for Lausanne or Zurich), you will develop state-of-the-art tracking algorithms, optimize for edge deployment, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Educational background: a STEM degree (e.g., Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, Mathematics).
• Embedded algorithmic expertise in CV and sensor-fusion in hardware-constrained environments.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for real-time systems; experience with edge deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop state-of-the-art computer vision approaches for object tracking across modalities.
• Fuse data from multiple sensors (cameras, IMU, radar) for high-precision tracking.
• Optimize tracking algorithms for edge deployment on heterogeneous hardware.
• Collaborate with GNC, Sensor Fusion, and AI teams to integrate tracking pipelines into production.
• Stay at the forefront of CV, tracking, and sensor fusion research and innovation.
• Mentor junior engineers as needed.
