Harmattan AI is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join the tracker team at an early stage, with opportunities to influence technical direction. The role supports operating out of Lausanne, Paris, or Zurich, focusing on a global 3D Object Tracking pipeline at the intersection of CV, sensor fusion and GNC teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, Mathematics).
• Proven track record in CV & Sensor-Fusion algorithms in hardware-constrained environments.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for real-time systems; experience optimizing code for edge deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop state-of-the-art Computer Vision approaches for 3D Object Tracking across modalities.
• Fuse data from multiple sensors (camera, IMU, radar) for precise target estimation.
• Optimize and embed tracking algorithms on heterogeneous platforms with limited compute, real-time performance.
• Collaborate with GNC, Sensor Fusion, and AI teams to integrate tracking pipelines.
• Remain at the forefront of CV, tracking, and sensor fusion research and innovation.
• Mentor junior engineers depending on seniority and capacity.
