Job summary

U-Space in Toulouse, France, is recruiting a Contracts Manager M/F for a 12-month fixed-term maternity-cover role starting January 2027. The position requires a Master’s degree and 5+ years of negotiating complex technology contracts in B2B/B2G settings, fluent French and English, and an agile mindset for a scale-up.

You will draft and negotiate client, supplier and partner contracts in an international context, set standards for commercial proposals including subcontracting and consortia,

Qualifications

Master's in business law, contract management or business school.
5+ years negotiating complex technology contracts in industrial or tech B2B/B2G settings.
Solid business-law knowledge plus IP and public/institutional law.

Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate client, supplier and partner contracts in an international context.
Set standards for commercial and contractual proposals (subcontracting, consortia, ATPs).
Support sales on currency hedging, payment profiles and inflation.
Secure IP and insurance terms.
Provide first-level export-control analysis with an external law firm.
