Qomon is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join a human-sized, mission-driven engineering team in Bordeaux. You’ll work with a Product Pod to design features, build reliable backend systems, and own deliverables end-to-end, from databases to APIs.

Our stack includes Golang, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and modern DevOps tooling. You’ll help keep the platform healthy and scalable while shipping impactful features for nonprofits and civic organizations.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development skills and ownership of features end-to-end.
• Willingness to learn Go if not already proficient.
• Professional English level (B2+).
• Interest in civic and nonprofit tech is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Write production-level backend code in Golang (preferred, not mandatory).
• Partner with Product Pod to shape technical and product decisions.
• Design and implement APIs, utilities, and backoffice features for reliability and scalability.
• Contribute to CI/CD, monitoring, and system health as part of DevOps practices.
• Own deliverables from database modeling to data integrity across systems.
• Collaborate with broader engineering teams across backend and frontend.
