Qomon is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join a human-sized, mission-driven engineering team in Bordeaux. You’ll work with a Product Pod to design features, build reliable backend systems, and own deliverables end-to-end, from databases to APIs.
Our stack includes Golang, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and modern DevOps tooling. You’ll help keep the platform healthy and scalable while shipping impactful features for nonprofits and civic organizations.
Qomon is the modern Supporter Activation Platform trusted by more than 1,500 political & nonprofit teams across 70 countries. We transform passive contact lists and supporter energy into visible outcomes: volunteers who show up, new donors who give, and data-driven campaigns that scale.
Easy to use, AI-augmented, privacy-first, and secure, Qomon helps nonprofit and political teams mobilize both online and in the field.
Since 2020, we are on a mission to build a world that reflects the vision of its people; starting with giving nonprofit and political teams a powerful infrastructure to activate their people, donors, and supporters, and win. Today, our platform supports 70,000 active volunteers, 500 million supporters managed, and 100,000 actions led last year alone.
Qomon has been recognized as the Best Organizing Platform in the U.S. in 2024 and 2025, and is a Certified B Corp, reflecting its commitment to high standards of social and environmental impact.
At Qomon, we value action, autonomy, humility, and ambition.
Qomon is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join a human-sized, experienced, and genuinely mission-driven engineering team. You’ll be embedded in a Product team (Product Leader, Designer, Back, Front and Mobile developers), work on complex systems, build reliable solutions, and take real ownership, not just tickets.
Your two core focuses: shipping great new features to our users, and keeping the platform healthy, scalable, and running well.
Every feature you build helps nonprofits and political organizations mobilize volunteers, engage supporters, raise funds, and drive real-world action.
Our backend stack includes: Golang (Microservices), PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, KrakenD, RabbitMq, Redis, Dagster, etc. More infra related: Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Gitlab CI/CD, Monitoring (Telegraf + Influxdb + Grafana, Zabbix).
