JobTeaser is growing a European platform and seeking a Backend Engineer to own parts of the backend stack. You will work in an agile squad with autonomy, collaborating with product and design to deliver a scalable SaaS product.

The team uses Ruby, Go, Kubernetes, Kafka, and PostgreSQL, with a microservices migration underway. You will contribute to architecture, implement features, write tests, and participate in code reviews, while maintaining production stability.

Qualifications

• Experience with backend development in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
• Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions with real product impact.
• Comfort in an agile squad with autonomy over product scope.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain features on a stack including Ruby, Go microservices, and Rails monolith.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and tooling improvements for microservice migration.
• Write automated tests and deploy to production multiple times a day in a CD DevOps culture.
• Monitor and fix production issues within the team’s scope.
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming.
