Fortinet is seeking a Consulting Systems Engineer in France to design, build, and operate scalable platforms that optimize pre-sales workflows. You will blend cybersecurity expertise with systems engineering and software development, focusing on automation, reliability, and secure-by-design solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior-level cybersecurity experience with firewalls, network security, and incident troubleshooting.
• Strong automation and software engineering background; Python (Django) and Ruby on Rails proficiency.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, version control (Git/Mercurial), testing, and deployment strategies.
• Advanced Linux system administration; ability to integrate with Windows and macOS environments.

Responsabilités

• Solution & Platform Engineering: maintain and improve internal tools; design automation-first workflows; own SDLC across projects.
• Security & Systems Operations: troubleshoot security, network, and system issues; contribute to secure architectures; manage firewall policies.
• Software Development & Automation: build APIs and automation with Python (Django) and Ruby on Rails; apply secure coding and automated testing.
• Enablement & Collaboration: support demonstrations and enablement activities; translate needs into scalable technical solutions; write runbooks.
