Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Systems Engineer to support, evolve, and automate solutions that optimize pre-sales workflows. The role blends cybersecurity, systems engineering, and software development with a focus on automation and secure-by-design solutions.

You will design, build, and operate scalable platforms in Linux environments, collaborating with pre-sales and internal systems engineers to improve efficiency and secure technical operations across the organization.

Qualifications

• Senior-level cybersecurity experience with firewall, network security, and incident troubleshooting.
• Strong automation and software engineering background, incl. Python (Django) and Ruby on Rails.
• SDLC practices knowledge including version control (Git, Mercurial), testing, and deployment.
• Advanced Linux administration skills; ability to work with Windows and macOS.
• Strong troubleshooting across infra, network, and application layers.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization and container technologies.

Responsabilités

• Solution & Platform Engineering: support, maintain, and improve internal solutions and tools used across sales and pre-sales.
• Design and implement automation-first solutions to streamline workflows and reduce friction.
• Own solutions across the full SDLC: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance.
