TOM FORD is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Paris to support the Saint-Honoré boutique opening and ongoing operations. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional client experiences, drive sales, and uphold TOM FORD standards of service and presentation.

You will lead by example on the floor, coach staff, and contribute to onboarding during the opening phase, ensuring a seamless, luxury retail environment in a fast-paced, international setting.

Description du poste

As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in the successful opening and ongoing operation of the new TOM FORD Saint-Honoré store in Paris.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you will support the management of the store, ensuring exceptional client experience, strong commercial performance and the highest standards of operational excellence.

You will act as a role model for the team, contributing to a positive and high-performing environment while embodying the TOM FORD brand values, aesthetic and service standards.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Store Management and Operations
  • Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day management of the boutique and ensure the smooth running of all store operations.
  • Take responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring business continuity and effective decision-making.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of TOM FORD operational, visual merchandising and client service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, security guidelines and health & safety requirements.
  • Support stock management, deliveries, replenishment, transfers and inventory activities.
  • Monitor store organisation, maintenance and overall presentation to ensure the boutique consistently reflects TOM FORD's luxury positioning.
  • Support the opening of the new store, contributing to the implementation of operational processes and ways of working.
Sales & Business Performance
  • Drive sales performance and contribute to the achievement of store targets and KPIs.
  • Analyse sales results and identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Support the Store Manager in setting individual and team objectives.
  • Monitor daily business performance and communicate key results and priorities to the team.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor and actively contribute to achieving personal and store targets.
  • Develop strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of the store's client book.
  • Encourage and support the team in developing clienteling and CRM activities.
Client Experience & Brand Standards
  • Deliver and maintain an exceptional luxury client experience in line with Tom Ford standards.
  • Ensure excellence in visual merchandising, product presentation, and overall store appearance.
  • Build long-term relationships with local and international clients through personalized service.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador, ensuring every client interaction reflects the values and image of Tom Ford.
  • Support the Store Manager in leading, motivating and developing the store team.
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating strong leadership, professionalism and excellent selling behaviours.
  • Coach team members on product knowledge, selling techniques, clienteling and customer service.
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees, particularly during the opening phase of the store.
  • Contribute to regular feedback and performance discussions with team members.
  • Help create a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team environment.
  • Support the Store Manager in organising the team's daily activities, schedules and floor coverage.
Brand & Product
  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of TOM FORD collections, products, brand history and values.
  • Ensure the team maintains a high level of product knowledge and is able to provide expert and personalised advice to clients.
  • Stay informed about new launches, collections, product updates and commercial initiatives.
  • Ensure that brand standards are consistently represented across all client touchpoints.
Job Requirements
  • Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within a luxury retail environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong clienteling and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding and highly international environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
  • Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented approach.
  • Genuine passion for luxury, fashion and the TOM FORD brand.
  • Fluency in English and French is required; additional languages are a strong advantage.
