Mandarin Oriental Paris is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to join the Camelia restaurant, supporting the Restaurant Manager in all operational, administrative and financial aspects of the outlet and taking full responsibility in the manager's absence.

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris, you will ensure a seamless dining experience by preparing the dining area, overseeing service, and coordinating with kitchen, front office and housekeeping to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in hospitality management.
• At least 2 years’ experience as Chef de Rang or similar in the hospitality industry.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Oversee the smooth service of meals in the restaurant.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle any complaints or feedback professionally.

About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Camelia restaurant, the Restaurant Assistant Manager will support the Restaurant Manager in all related operational, administrative and financial aspects of the outlet and assumes full responsibility in his absence.

As Restaurant Assistant Manager, We Expect From You

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, attentive, and courteous.
• Degree or diploma in hospitality management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven experience of at least 2 years as a Chef de Rang or similar position in the hospitality industry.
• Proactive mindset with enthusiasm and a sense of initiative and leadership.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
