City of Fredericksburg, Texas is seeking a Recreation Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park Pool, Town Pool and Splashpad. You will coordinate programs for schools and local groups, and assist in reservations for athletic and event venues.

The role requires a preferred bachelor's degree in parks and recreation or three years related experience, and certifications in lifeguarding and aquatic facility operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in parks and recreation or related field preferred or 3 years related experience.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• NSPF Certified Pool/Spa Operator or Aquatic Facility Operators license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park Pool, Town Pool, and Splashpad.
• Coordinates, implements, directs, and supervises recreational activities and programs for all citizens with schools and local organizations.
• Assists with management of athletic, recreational camping, and event venue reservations and operations.
• Rotating on-call Tuesday-Saturday during the aquatics season.
