Datadog is seeking a Manager I in Applied AI to lead engineers and applied scientists in building cost-efficient, secure AI capabilities. You will define direction, run rapid feedback loops, and collaborate with product managers, research teams, and cross-functional partners to ship impactful AI features.

You will mentor talent, help set hiring strategies, and steer projects from framing through broader adoption, ensuring high standards for quality, latency, and safety.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading engineers and applied scientists in fast-moving AI projects.
• Strong expertise in one or more AI/ML areas like LLMs, RAG, semantic search, or NLP.
• Proven ability to define direction, set success criteria, and ship AI capabilities.
