Chariot is building modern, end-to-end payment infrastructure to simplify donors’ lives and empower nonprofits. The Applied AI Engineer will create our internal brain—an agent-based system that automates workflows across GTM, Ops, and Compliance to power our next phase of growth.

You’ll translate strategy into automated tools, ship real software, and push for impactful changes rather than cosmetic automation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Engineering, Growth Product Management, or technical RevOps.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript or SQL and API familiarity.
• Bias to ship and ownership mentality; comfortable in a fast-moving startup.

Responsabilités

• Turn strategy into systems by translating company strategy into automated workflows.
• Build and ship real tools by writing code and assembling internal systems.
• Power our growth engine with programmatic outbound and internal tools to accelerate GTM, Ops, and Compliance.
• Question the defaults and prototype what’s possible instead of simply automating today’s processes.
• Run it in production by building and orchestrating agents that improve with real data and teammates.
