Merge, a regulated stablecoin payments infrastructure platform, is seeking an AML/compliance specialist to support alert reviews and investigations across crypto and fiat flows in Paris. You will review monitoring alerts, analyze activity, maintain investigation records, and assist with SAR/STR filings while ensuring EU AML compliance and robust KYC/EDD processes.

Fluency in English and French is preferred, with 1–3 years in AML or transaction monitoring and exposure to fintech or crypto

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in AML, compliance, or transaction monitoring
• Understanding of AML/KYC principles and financial crime risks
• Interest or experience in crypto/VASP and payments/EMI environments
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage operational compliance workflows
• Fluency in English, and French. Professional proficiency preferred
• Exposure to transaction monitoring or blockchain analytics tools (preferred)
• AML certification such as CAMS/ICA or working toward one (preferred)
• Knowledge of EU AML regulatory environment (preferred)

Responsabilités

• Review transaction monitoring alerts across fiat and crypto transactions
• Analyze transaction activities and patterns
• Investigate flagged transactions and elevate findings in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain investigation records and case documentation
• Assist with preparation of suspicious activity reports (SAR/STR) - TRACFIN
• Support ongoing AML and Travel Rule compliance checks
• Perform KYC/KYB, and periodic customer reviews
• Perform enhanced due diligence (EDD) on high-risk customers, transactions, and jurisdictions
• Conduct sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening
