Description du poste

Date Posted: 2025-04-07

Country: France

Location: AVE DES MONTOIRES, GIEN, UNITE: B, 45504, France

Focus: Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) applied to elevators

Our engineering department designs embedded systems for elevators. Elevator systems serve diverse applications and are becoming increasingly complex with recent technologies and innovative products such as:

  • Active Safety Systems
  • Connectivity
  • System Digitalization
  • Remote Diagnostics
  • Remote Intervention
  • Energy Efficiency

Our engineering centers utilize the CESAMES system engineering framework and model elevators with MBSE tools like CAPELLA from ECLIPSE. To generate easily readable documents from Capella models, we need to develop an automated extraction process using templates with a CAPELLA plug-in (M2Doc). Since Capella is open-source, modifications may be required to meet Otis's needs and the CESAMES framework.

We are seeking a student-apprentice enrolled in an engineering school (mechanical or generalist). Preferred candidates have some skills in software and coding; training will be provided if not. The position is based at Otis's largest European engineering center in Gien, Loiret (45), with up to two days per week remote work. You will collaborate globally with Otis centers in Madrid, Berlin, the US, India, and China.

Your role involves working with an architecture team to create M2Doc templates for extracting Word documents from CAPELLA models and adapting Capella open-source software to Otis requirements. In the second year, your role will evolve towards becoming a more specialized MBSE expert, assisting architects with system analysis and modeling of elevator subsystems in CAPELLA.
