Job summary

Qonto is seeking a Team Lead – Accounting in Paris to guide a cross‑functional team of Backend and Frontend engineers. You will build AI‑driven features that automate bookkeeping and real‑time VAT calculations, while simplifying complex accounting for business owners.

You will work closely with the Product Manager and Designer to shape the roadmap, maintain a high technical bar, and ensure scalable engineering practices within Qonto Accounting.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing engineers or teams.
• Experience building production systems in Go (backend) or React (frontend).
• Hands-on AI‑driven development and recent coding activity.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Bonus: familiarity with the French accounting ecosystem and its services.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional team of Backend and Frontend engineers.
• Develop features that automate bookkeeping and real‑time VAT calculations.
• Simplify complex accounting and tax steps for business owners.
