Job summary

Qonto is seeking a Team Lead for Accounting to guide a cross-functional team of Backend and Frontend engineers. You will develop features that automate bookkeeping and display VAT in real time, while simplifying complex accounting steps for business owners.

The role reports to the Head of Engineering in the Accounting domain and collaborates closely with product and design. We expect strong leadership, Go/React proficiency, and a passion for AI-driven engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineers as a manager or tech lead.
• Experience building production systems in Go or frontend with React.
• Experience using AI in engineering work.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Bonus: knowledge of the French accounting world.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Backend and Frontend engineers and help each of them grow.
• Build features that automate bookkeeping and show VAT in real time.
• Turn complex accounting steps into a clear experience for business owners.
• Bring AI-first experiences and ship AI-enabled capabilities in accounting.
• Co-own the product and keep the technical bar high, aligning with Product Manager and Designer.
