Job summary

Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) in Paris is offering a six-month internship starting February 2027 to support results data and analysis for the Strategic Framework 2028-2032. You will work with the Executive Office to link data across portfolios, develop AI-assisted tools, and build prototype dashboards in line with data rules.

The role requires a Master’s level or near-completion in economics/statistics, coding in Python/R/SQL, and strong communication in English or French.

Qualifications

• Graduated within the past 24 months or in final year of Master’s level or equivalent, in economics, statistics, quantitative methods or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Python, R or SQL, with ability to review and correct AI-generated code.
• Experience using AI tools for analysis or coding and checking their outputs for accuracy.
• Ability to explain data clearly to non-technical readers.
• Proactive, reliable and accurate, able to work well in a small team.
• Excellent command of English or French, both oral and written; working knowledge of the other is desirable.
• Citizen of one of the CEB’s Member States.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and evidence for the Strategic Framework 2028-2032.
• Link portfolio, results and social and economic data, including through location reference tables, and produce heat maps and gap maps.
• Help develop and test AI-assisted tools for managing results data.
• Use AI tools to develop prototype data dashboards in line with the Bank's data rules.
