Job summary

The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) invites applications for a 6-month internship in Corporate Services, based in Paris. The intern will work directly with the Corporate Services Director, contributing to cross-functional projects, process improvements and the rollout of AI and automation initiatives.

Ideal candidates have recently graduated or are in the final year of a master’s program, with strong analytical abilities, process improvement interest, and proficiency in English or

Qualifications

• Graduated within the past 24 months or currently enrolled in the final year of higher education (ideally Master’s level).
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to structure complex issues and work with different teams.
• Knowledge of process improvement methods such as Lean or Agile; interest in AI and automation is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English or French, both oral and written; working knowledge of the other is desirable.
• Citizen of one of the CEB's Member States.

Responsibilities

• Projects and budgets: monitor Directorate projects, priorities and budgets; consolidate input from the Divisions and flag issues.
• Processes: review selected processes, identify gaps or unclear responsibilities and suggest practical improvements, including automation.
• Coordination across the Directorate: support collaboration among the Divisions, clarify responsibilities and follow up on actions.
• AI and automation: identify opportunities to use AI and automation and support implementation.
• Director support: prepare concise analyses, briefings and proposals on strategic or organisational issues and support follow-up.
