Customs Support Group is seeking an AI Engineer to lead the development and customization of its AI stack for the market. This role focuses on building reliable agents and integrations on top of existing models, with close collaboration across Operations, Transformation, IT and Group teams.

You will design, test and implement practical, compliant AI solutions for document understanding, retrieval and multi-step workflows that support customs declarations, while ensuring governance and privacy

Qualifications

• 1-2 years AI engineering, software engineering or intelligent automation, including LLM features used in production.
• Strong Python and SQL, with production code ownership.
• Experience integrating large language models into production systems.
• Practical experience with at least one cloud AI platform (Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex).
• Solid backend engineering fundamentals: APIs, data pipelines, testing, CI/CD.
• Excellent communication with operations staff and fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Develop and customise AI solutions from prototype to production ownership.
• Self-learn to use generative AI to build impactful agents.
• Identify automation and decision-support opportunities and size them before building.
• Design solutions using generative AI and LLMs: retrieval, tool calling, extraction, agentic workflows.
• Own evaluation and define success metrics for ships and scaling pilots.
• Manage pilots, implementation, and criteria for scaling or stopping.
• Monitor performance, cost, latency and business impact.
• Collaborate with Operations, Transformation, IT and Group teams.
