Lever, Inc. in France seeks an Automation Engineer (Customer Service) to transform repetitive support processes through scalable automation. You will build AI-powered agents, self-service flows, and integrations with internal systems to reduce manual work while handling growing customer volumes.

You’ll work hands-on with tickets, APIs, LLMs, and cloud infrastructure, contributing to automation for billing, notifications, and infrastructure operations in an international, fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with automation, backend development, or integrations.
• Strong Python development skills for production-quality automation.
• REST APIs experience with multiple systems.
• Practical experience with LLM APIs, AI agents, or applied AI technologies.
• Ability to design reliable, scalable automation systems.
• Proactive on identifying improvements and translating requirements into solutions.
• Excellent collaboration with non-engineering stakeholders.
• Working proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Build agents and automation scripts to streamline quota request processing.
• Develop self-service workflows for billing and data requests.
• Design and maintain LLM-powered agents to resolve tickets more efficiently.
• Develop and maintain N8N workflows for notifications and operations.
• Integrate automation with REST APIs including Jira and billing systems.
• Contribute to infra automation, Terraform configs, and runbooks.
• Maintain and improve automation as ticket volumes grow.
• Design for reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and engineering to automate repetitive tasks.
• Evaluate new technologies to boost efficiency and quality.
