Job summary

HyLight is seeking a Mechanical Integration and Test Engineer to own the drone's mechanical lifecycle, bridging engineering perfection with field reality. You will ensure robustness, easy assembly, and mission-ready availability, collaborating with the Mech Team across reliability, industrialization, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Background in Mechanical Engineering with practical experience.
• Experience designing rugged outdoor mechanical systems and test planning.
• Ability to alternate between deep design work and production support.
• Strong hands-on approach and ownership of lifecycle from design to field.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual design of new mechanical subsystems and airframe evolutions (CAD, prototyping).
• Establish fatigue models and life-testing plans to maximize fleet availability.
• Implement Root Cause Analysis to link field failures to design improvements.
