Job summary

Ledger in Paris is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant (Comptable Fournisseurs) to manage supplier invoices, match them with purchase orders, and prepare payment batches in a fast-paced international finance team.

You will contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual closings, review expense reports, and support audits. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, plus good English, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum BTS, DUT or equivalent.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is a real plus.
• Comfort with AI tools and current AI capabilities is recommended.
• Rigour and an analytical mindset.
• Ability to communicate and work in a team.
• Good English level, required to work in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Match invoices against purchase orders (supplier accounting).
• Record invoices and review items arriving on the approved platform.
• Prepare payment batches.
• Perform account reconciliation (lettrage).
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual closings (accrued expenses, shareholder current accounts).
• Analyze and monitor accounts and liaise with suppliers and employees.
• Contribute to annual audits by answering auditors’ questions.
• Review expense reports and book entries; prepare payments and reconcile.
• Support declaration of fees (honoraires).
