Harmattan AI in Paris is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to own the supplier-to-payment cycle across entities. You will improve AP processes, work with Finance, Procurement and cost center managers, and ensure timely payments with strong controls as volumes grow.

You will handle invoice processing, three-way matching, payment runs (SEPA and international), supplier reconciliations and inquiries, driving AP automation while maintaining compliance with French accounting rules.

Qualifikationen

• 2 to 4 years of accounts payable experience in a fast-growing or industrial setting.
• Solid knowledge of the full AP cycle: invoice processing, matching, payments, and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of French accounting rules and VAT, incl. intra-EU and import.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems; advanced Excel; familiarity with AP automation tools.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Own the full supplier-to-payment cycle from invoice receipt to payment.
• Perform three-way matching and resolve mismatches with Procurement and Operations.
• Prepare and validate payment runs (SEPA and international) on time.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Answer supplier queries on payment status and verify bank details.
• Improve invoice capture, approval workflows, and reporting; drive AP automation.
• Strengthen internal controls and fraud prevention across the AP process.
• Keep AP records and procedures documented to support audits and compliance.
