ampiO Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead and develop a team of accountants while owning key accounting activities and ensuring the close is accurate and timely. This hands-on role includes general ledger entries, reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and coordinating month-end and year-end close processes, while maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualificações

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• At least seven years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Experience supervising accountants or leading accounting work, including task assignment, review, and coaching of colleagues.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls; proficiency with Excel (lookups, pivot tables) and accounting software.
• CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent qualification; experience supporting audits and improving close processes.

Responsabilidades

• The role will perform and review general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end close activities, maintain the close calendar, and prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Explain variances, ensure accuracy of results, and apply accounting standards consistently.
• Maintain internal controls and appropriate approval practices; support audits and tax preparation with accurate schedules.
• Coach accountants through feedback, training, and development goals; manage onboarding and performance reviews.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and reports for accuracy; escalate significant risks early.
