Jobtailor is seeking a senior Finance Director to provide strategic and operational oversight of financial reporting and projects across Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and the Netherlands.

You will lead a team of accounting professionals, ensure accuracy and compliance of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow data, and act as the local expert on tax, legal, and intercompany matters within a multinational, multilingual environment.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of accounting, tax, and legal matters in an international context.
• Education in finance and accounting; CFA/CPA/FA or equivalent.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Strong business acumen and a commercial mindset.
• Experience in multinational, multi-location, multilingual environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational oversight of financial reporting across Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and the Netherlands.
• Ensure quality, reliability, and compliance of financial information.
• Develop a forward-looking financial perspective for the Western Europe cluster.
• Oversee a team of accounting experts; lead five accounting staff.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure timely, accurate P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting.
• Act as local contact for tax, legal, and credit management.
• Ensure transfer pricing and intercompany compliance with Group policies.
• Act as Compliance Ambassador and safeguard accounting integrity.
• Contribute to project design and coordinate central and local stakeholders.
• Drive harmonization of financial processes across the cluster.
• Deliver pragmatic, value-driven solutions to operational needs.
• Collaborate with local teams, regional finance, the ISC in Poland, and the global Miele organization.

• Strengthen team capabilities, drive performance, and foster collaboration
• Lead month-end and year-end closing financial processes
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow data
• Act as local point of contact for tax, legal, and credit management activities
• Ensure transfer pricing and intercompany compliance with Group policies
• Act as Compliance Ambassador and safeguard accounting integrity and financial governance
• Contribute to project design and coordinate central and local stakeholders
• Drive harmonization of financial processes across the cluster
• Deliver pragmatic, value-driven solutions to operational needs
• Collaborate with local teams, regional finance, the International Shared Service Center in Poland, and the global Miele organization

Requirements

• Proven knowledge of accounting, tax, and legal matters in an international context
• Education in finance and accounting, preferably CFA, CPA, FA, or equivalent
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Excellent people management skills
• Strong business acumen and a commercial mindset
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively
• Experience working in a multinational, multi-location, and multilingual environment
• Comfortable operating within a matrix organization with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent command of English and French, written and spoken, at C1 level
• Professional, meticulous, and collaborative communication style
