Jobtailor in Poitiers, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and ensure data reliability across the group.

You will lead automated data and BI initiatives, manage cash flow, and oversee intercompany reconciliations, supplier payments, and monthly closes. The role requires strong accounting expertise, Excel and Power BI proficiency, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma in accounting or finance (BTS Comptabilité, BUT GEA, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA).
• Strong IT interest in data and automation.
• 5–10 years accounting experience, ideally in multi-entity environment.
• Experience in automation, data analysis or BI.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and closing processes.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency.

Description du poste

• Ensure accounting records are maintained in compliance with current procedures to guarantee the regularity, accuracy and reliability of produced financial information.


• Be responsible for the quality of financial data within your scope.


• Oversee cash management and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes.


• Act as the reference for automation, data and Business Intelligence topics.


• Ensure correct monthly analytical accounting of expenses and revenues.


• Monitor and reconcile intercompany reciprocal balances with other Group entities.


• Oversee supplier payments and execute twice-monthly payment runs.


• Prepare quarterly closes, annual financial statements and performance indicators within required deadlines.

Requirements

• Higher education in accounting: BTS Comptabilité, BUT GEA (finance-accounting option), DCG, DSCG, Master CCA or equivalent.


• Strong interest in IT tools, data and automation is highly appreciated.


• Minimum 5-10 years of proven accounting experience, ideally gained in a multi-entity or group environment.


• Significant experience in continuous improvement projects, automation of accounting processes, data analysis or Business Intelligence.


• Good command of accounting and tax principles and closing processes.


• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI.


• Strong analytical skills, rigor and the ability to ensure the reliability of financial data.


• Initiative, continuous-improvement orientation and ability to support change.


• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
