Job summary

Eutelsat Communications SA is seeking a 5G Operational Engineer to join the S&O team for the IRIS2 programme in Toulouse. You will integrate 5G operational architectures with the satellite ground segment, define operational processes, contribute to documentation, and support system integration before transitioning to live ops in Toulouse.

The role requires hands-on 5G experience, ITIL process design, and collaboration with internal teams and external providers.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering or computer science required.
Strong knowledge of 5G core and RAN.
Experience with ITIL-based processes.
EU security clearance eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

Engineering of Operations & Preparation: support ops design, docs, and validation before launch.
Define and maintain ITIL-based processes for incidents, problems, changes, and requests.
Interface with managed services and suppliers to align operations and SLAs.
Provide engineering support for incident, problem, and change management.
Collect data on performance, drive improvements and document lessons learned.
Prepare clear technical reports for the Ground Manager.
