Lines Manufacturing is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Strasbourg to join our technical team. You will contribute to new product development, procure components, and define assembly procedures for process-related systems.

You’ll also drive improvements and supervise assembly to ensure compliance. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Creo), and a collaborative mindset to work with R&D and workshop teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in machine tools or relevant industrial machinery environments.
• Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or PTC Creo.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with corrective and preventive actions.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and effective communication.

What You’ll Do

• Actively contributing to new product development, in collaboration with the R&D team.

What You Bring

• Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in machine tools or relevant industrial machinery environments. Experience in industrial manufacturing, automation, or precision engineering is highly preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical design methods, tools, and techniques. Experience in managing large assemblies will be considered.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You have a keen eye for detail and are capable of strong analytical skills. You know how to solve problems effectively and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Team Collaboration: You work well with cross-functional teams, understanding the importance of communication and teamwork in ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or PTC Creo.
• Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Relevant industrial certifications are a plus.
