A leading financial services provider in Finland is hiring for its 2026 Kiitorata Trainee Program as a System Product Owner Trainee. This role involves working in a versatile technology environment, managing service processes, and collaborating with international partners. Ideal candidates should have IT skills, a higher education degree, and interest in the finance industry. The position offers a salary of €3,150 per month for a six-month contract from March 1 to August 31, 2026.

Your role in a nutshell
You will be part of either the business or technology team, where you will work in a versatile technology environment, managing service processes for application areas and ensuring system reliability, quality, and seamless operation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn how incident communication, and the technical investigation and resolution of system issues are handled in collaboration with teams and suppliers.
You will engage in application maintenance in close cooperation with our partners' experts, making supplier management and collaboration in a multi-supplier environment a key part of your role. You will ensure compliance with maintenance service agreements and participate in procurement and cost management. In the spirit of continuous service improvement, you will identify development areas and drive their implementation. Your work will also include reporting on service production quality and cost efficiency to stakeholders. You will be surrounded by a network of service management colleagues who offer support for everyday challenges.
Does this sound like you?
You are interested in the finance industry and have IT skills. You communicate fluently in English and have completed or are currently completing a higher education degree.
You are interested in becoming a professional in service production. You are eager to learn maintenance tasks and develop your skills in building support models and working with evolving technologies. You are interested in guiding development teams' service production processes, as well as managing international supplier collaborations, contract matters, and monitoring contract compliance.
You have sufficient technical expertise to manage the technologies and solutions of your application area and understand technical solutions for managing the application lifecycle. You have experience in utilizing DevOps principles and agile culture, and you want to learn about the SIAM model.
You can manage large entities, proactively seek new solutions, and work independently with initiative. You perform well under pressure and maintain a calm, solution-oriented approach, especially in potential incident situations.
Fluency in Finnish is beneficial, particularly in cross-team collaboration.
