Ahvenisto Hospital in Hämeenlinna is seeking four temporary nurses to join the surgical department. The placements include two long-term positions until 31 December 2026 and three until 30 April 2027, with start dates as soon as possible or by agreement (preferably by 1 October 2026).

The unit handles both emergency and elective patients, operating on a three-shift schedule. The hospital moved to Ahvenisto in March 2026 and offers modern facilities with good transport access.

Qualifications

Job description

Salary & Contract

• The position pays a base salary of 3045.34 €/month plus experience-based increments of 3–8%.
• A probation period applies.

We require a legally recognized nursing degree in Finland.

Safety and health requirements apply (Finnish Infection Control Act) and the organization supports research-related leave for e.g. dissertations or advanced degrees.
