Job summary

Nordea Bank Norge ASA in Oulu is recruiting a Technical Lead for the Data area within the Data & Analytics team. You will steer the Customer 360 platform engineering, mentor data engineers, and drive cloud-native modernization of the data stack.

You will champion data quality, platform migration, and governance while aligning technical delivery with Nordea's strategic goals for 2030. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong emphasis on collaboration and coaching.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams or as a Technical Lead in large-scale data projects.
• Experience designing, building and operating modern data platforms on Snowflake with data engineering emphasis.
• Hands-on with cloud tech and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD).
• Strong proficiency in Python or Scala and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for one of the Oulu Customer 360 engineering teams.
• Lead the design and hands-on migration of ELT pipelines using Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Develop deep understanding of the Customer 360 data model across multiple sources and ensure data fidelity.
• Ensure automated data quality, reconciliation, and integration into DevOps pipelines.
