Job summary

Nordea Bank Norge ASA is seeking an IT Developer/Data Engineer to advance data engineering for Capital and Credit Data Foundation. You will develop data products that empower business processes with large financial impact, and help define good data engineering and delivery flows.

You will join a growing, Nordic bank with a modern tech stack across Finland and Poland, working with data engineers, architects, scrum masters and product managers to transform the future of banking.

Qualifications

• Over 12 years in computer engineering or related fields.
• Strong background in OLAP design (STAR/Snowflake schemas).
• Proficient in SQL and PLSQL; Snowflake experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize scalable ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Develop and optimize PLSQL and database objects for high-performance storage in Snowflake/Oracle.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure and workflow automation.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows and infrastructure performance.
• Ensure data quality, governance and compliance with best practices.
