Job summary

Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue invites applications for a practical nurse to join our warm home care team. In Parainen and Kemiönsaari you will support clients in their own homes, ensuring safety, care and rehabilitative presence, in collaboration with relatives and a multidisciplinary team.

We value Swedish and Finnish language skills, a valid driver’s license and IT competence. A vocational qualification in social and health care (practical nurse) and proper registration are required;

Qualifications

• Strong interaction and language skills in Swedish and Finnish are essential.
• A driving licence and IT literacy are advantageous.

Job description

We are currently looking for a practical nurse to strengthen our warm-hearted and competent home care team:

• Parainen center: as soon as possible - 16.2.2027
• Kemiönsaari, North: as soon as possible - 31.12.2026.

Your Role

In home care, you provide your clients with security, care, and responsible presence in their own homes. You will work in varying environments and implement holistic nursing care together with the client, relatives, and a multidisciplinary work community. In your work, you emphasize strengthening the clients' resources, supporting participation, and a rehabilitative approach.

What We Expect From You

A valid LOVe medication permit, work experience in elderly services, knowledge of the RAI assessment system, and good IT skills are considered an advantage.

The eligibility requirement for the position is a vocational qualification in social and health care (practical nurse) or a previous school-level degree in the field, as well as valid registration in the JulkiTerhikki and JulkiSuosikki registers.
