Job summary

Euronext Nord Pool is seeking a Strategy and Business Analyst (VIE) to join the Nord Pool Strategy and Products department. Based in Oslo, the position starts in January 2027 and reports to the Chief Strategy Officer.

You will analyse markets, monitor competition, prepare materials, and support strategy processes, M&A, and collaboration across the Euronext group to drive energy-market innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, computer science or a related field.
• At least one successful internship or work experience in energy, strategy consulting or a fast-growing business.
• Experience in analysing data and creating reports and presentations.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong interest in energy economics, power markets and energy in general.
• Experience in project management.
• Excellent planning, organisational, problem-solving, time management and communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI.
• Fast learner with proactive mindset and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking market analysis to identify opportunities and customer needs through desktop research, client meetings and conferences.
• Monitoring the competitive landscape of services and products, screening analyses to identify business targets, and reporting across the department.
• Producing high-quality materials (spreadsheets, presentation slides) to communicate results and recommended actions.
• Participating in regular meetings with other departments, partners and the Euronext group to ensure alignment.
• Analysing business performance, identifying improvements and proposing actionable solutions.
• Participating in strategy updates, M&A processes and meetings with potential partners.

You will primarily be responsible for:

• Undertaking market analysis to identify opportunities and customer needs, using desktop research, client meetings and attendance at selected conferences

Your profile:
