Job summary

OX2 is seeking a Storage Director to guide Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) initiatives across the full project lifecycle. You will steer the storage technology strategy, align technical and commercial objectives, and work with diverse teams to optimize project delivery and asset performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in energy storage or broader renewable energy.
• Deep knowledge of BESS across value chain: development, engineering, procurement, construction or operations.
• Proven experience in BESS trading, battery analytics or asset performance monitoring.
• Strong technical foundation with solid commercial acumen.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Excellent communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~20%).
