Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects in Finland, with a hybrid on-site/remote setup.

You will own delivery from Ready-to-Build through commissioning, coordinating EPC contractors, suppliers and internal teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Fluent English is required; Finnish is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts and construction delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills.
• Commercial awareness and strong negotiation ability.
• A structured, proactive and solution‑focused approach.
• Fluent English (Finnish is advantageous but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead construction delivery of utility-scale BESS projects.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and cost forecasting.
• Drive an industry‑leading health, safety and environmental culture.
• Coordinate EPC contractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Monitor construction quality and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Manage stakeholder relationships including authorities, utilities and clients.
• Support contract administration and commercial management.
• Coordinate technical interfaces across engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Lead project commissioning, COD and close‑out activities.
