Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects in Finland, with a hybrid on-site/remote setup.

You will own delivery from Ready-to-Build through commissioning, coordinating EPC contractors, suppliers and internal teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Fluent English is required; Finnish is advantageous.

• Proven experience managing complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts and construction delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills.
• Commercial awareness and strong negotiation ability.
• A structured, proactive and solution‑focused approach.
• Fluent English (Finnish is advantageous but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead construction delivery of utility-scale BESS projects.

• Support contract administration and commercial management.
• Coordinate technical interfaces across engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Lead project commissioning, COD and close‑out activities.

Construction Project Manager – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

Location: Finland (Hybrid)

Our client is a leading international renewable energy developer delivering utility-scale clean energy infrastructure across Europe.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to take ownership of large-scale BESS projects from Financial Close through to Commercial Operation.

The Role

As Construction Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for delivering utility-scale BESS projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with internal teams, EPC contractors, suppliers, grid operators and key stakeholders, you will oversee every stage of project execution from Ready-to-Build through commissioning and final handover.
