We are looking for a Finnish-speaking SMS Specialist for a consulting assignment

SMS Teknik is looking for an experienced consultant for an assignment involving the operation, support and integration of SMS services.

The assignment requires solid technical experience as well as excellent language skills.

Mandatory requirements

• At least 220 person-days of experience as a specialist in the operation and/or support of SMS services.
• The relevant experience must have been gained during the period 1 January 2022 to 9 September 2026.
• Experience from assignments for at least one public-sector organisation.
• Experience integrating SMS services with customer information systems and/or patient information systems.
• Solid experience with GDPR, information security and working in environments aligned with ISO 27001.
• Excellent spoken and written Finnish.
• Excellent English, including technical terminology.

Nice to have

• Experience from healthcare, municipalities, regions or other public-sector organisations in Finland.
• Experience with large-scale SMS gateway, CPaaS or messaging solutions.
• Experience with REST APIs and integrations with business-critical systems.
• Experience with incident management, SLAs and technical customer support.
• Knowledge of Finnish telecom operators, Sender IDs and short codes.
• Experience implementing or migrating SMS services.

The assignment may be suitable for both independent consultants and consultants working through a consulting company.
