Job summary

Sine Eng is seeking a proactive Purchasing Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement for Tampere-site operations. You will create POs, validate supplier confirmations, and ensure timely deliveries while supporting onboarding and RFQ processes.

Collaborating with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance, you will manage supplier communications, analyze landed costs, and contribute to NPI and ECR/ECO activities as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role in Tampere.

Qualifications

• Understanding RFQ/RFI/PO processes and contracts.
• Supplier onboarding and performance tracking.
• Ability to calculate landed cost and total cost of ownership.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
• Knowledge of payment and delivery terms in contracts.

Responsibilities

Job description

Sine Engineering is a leading global company developing advanced radio communication and navigation systems. We are building mission‑critical infrastructure for the multi‑million‑drone era.

We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Specialist to manage end‑to‑end procurement activities – from creating purchase orders and validating supplier confirmations to ensuring timely deliveries and resolving shortages. You will maintain daily communication with suppliers, support onboarding and RFQ processes, and collaborate closely with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance teams.

Location: Tampere, on‑site, full‑time, permanent position

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders (POs) based on MRP, requisitions, or project needs

• Validate order confirmations: prices, delivery dates, quantities

• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery

• Resolve delivery delays, shortages, and discrepancies.

• Follow up with warehouse team to have proper receiving within WH

• Maintain day‑to‑day communication with suppliers

• Support onboarding new suppliers by collecting documents and coordinating approval flows

• Request quotes (RFQs) and compare proposal

• Work closely with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance

• Provide purchasing support during new product development (NPI)

• Support engineering changes (ECR/ECO) by updating suppliers and adjusting POs

Requirements

• Understanding of purchasing processes (RFQ, RFI, POs, contracts, and incoterms)

• Supplier management (evaluation, onboarding, performance tracking)

• Cost analysis — ability to compare quotes, calculate landed cost, evaluate TCO

• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.)

• Basic contract understanding — payment terms, delivery terms, warranty clauses

• Strong ability to analyze prices, trends, and delivery performance

• Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation)

• Understanding demand planning and how it impacts purchasing

• English: B2 or higher
