Job summary

Hiab is seeking a PLM Solution Architect to bridge engineering processes with our enterprise data ecosystem, translating requirements into technical blueprints for Windchill. You will manage technical development backlog, ensure data quality, and support production, service, and sales with robust PLM solutions.

The role requires 5+ years with Windchill PLM, strong CAD and enterprise architecture knowledge, and excellent English communication in an international setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Windchill PLM platform administration, configuration, and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical streams for PLM (Windchill) implementations, upgrades, and data migrations.
• Capture complex functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical blueprints.
• Design robust data models, workflows, and lifecycle states prioritizing out-of-the-box functionality.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to evaluate features and optimize solutions.
• Manage solution costs, budgets, and release management to minimize disruptions.

Your mission

As the PLM Solution Architect, you will bridge engineering processes with our broader enterprise data ecosystem, connecting production, service, and sales. You will translate business requirements into robust technical blueprints for Windchill, drive enterprise standards, manage technical project streams, and ensure high-quality master and transactional data delivery. In this position, you will provide technical support and functional knowledge required to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize specific solutions and own the technical development backlog within the project.

The primary location is Helsinki, Finland, but we are also open to applications from Tampere and Raisio, Finland.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical streams for PLM (Windchill) implementations, upgrades, and data migrations from scoping to deployment
• Partner with business and IM stakeholders to capture complex functional requirements and translate them into scalable, robust technical blueprints
• Design robust data models, workflows, and lifecycle states while prioritizing out-of-the-box functionality
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, software vendors, and external partners to evaluate new features and optimize solutions
• Manage solution costs, operational/development budgets, and release management to minimize business interruptions.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Windchill PLM platform administration, configuration, and development. Knowledge about the customizations is seen as a benefit
• Strong knowledge of CAD technologies, manufacturing business processes, and IT/IM enterprise architecture
• Proven track record in project management, change management, and third-party vendor management
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills in an international environment
• Occasional travelling, a few times per year depending on the projects
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
