Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve radiotherapy treatment planning algorithms.

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a strong algorithm development or scientific background to join ourEclipse developmentteam. In this role, you will contribute to the development of advancedradiotherapy treatment planning technology used by clinicians around the world.

You will work on algorithms, optimization methods, and software development for theEclipse Treatment Planning System. The position offers the opportunity to solve challenging problems at the intersection of medical physics, mathematics, optimization, and software engineering while contributing to products that help improve cancer treatment.

We are primarily looking for someone with strong experience in algorithm development who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges and collaborating on innovative solutions.

Your role:

• Develop and improveradiotherapytreatment planning algorithms.

• Research, design, and implement new algorithmic solutions, modeling modern radiotherapy delivery devices.

• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation, testing, and delivery.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers, physicists, researchers, and quality engineers in an agile development environment.

• Support product releases by helping where needed and working collaboratively across team boundaries.

• Contribute to technical discussions, innovation activities, and continuous improvement ofour treatmentplanning solutions.

Your expertise:

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, ora relatedtechnical field.

• Strong programming skills inC++ essential.

• Solid understanding of algorithms, numerical methods, optimization, or scientific computing.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Fluency in English language, both written and spoken.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Experience with medical imaging, radiotherapy, medical device software, or other regulated software environments.

• Experience withCUDA/GPU programming.

• Experience with Monte Carlo algorithms.

• Experience withC#,.NETand WPF.Experience in scientific research and publication activities.
