Job summary
Siemens Healthineers in Helsinki is seeking a Software Engineer to advance radiotherapy treatment planning algorithms and contribute to Eclipse development. Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong programming skills in C++ essential.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, numerical methods, optimization, or scientific computing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English language, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve radiotherapy treatment planning algorithms.
- Research, design, and implement new algorithmic solutions for modern radiotherapy delivery devices.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from concept to delivery.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, physicists, researchers, and quality engineers in an agile environment.
- Support product releases and work across team boundaries.
- Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement of our treatment planning solutions.
