Job summary

Radiometer Turku Operations is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain software and systems as part of the Operations Engineering team in Turku. This on-site role reports to the Senior Manager, IT & Automation and collaborates with local and global IT colleagues.

You will work with Python, SQL and C#, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and help improve testing and documentation. A B.Sc./M.Sc. in Information Sciences and 3+ years in industry are preferred.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Sciences.
• 3+ years in a developer/IT role in an industrial setting.
• Hands-on CI/CD, code versioning, testing, and technical documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken Finnish and English.
• Proficient in Python, SQL and C#.

The Software Engineer is a key player in digitalization activities by developing and maintaining software and systems in Radiometer Turku Operations.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, IT & Automation and is part of the Operations Engineering department located in Turku and will be an on‑site role.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Sciences
• 3+ years work experience as a developer / IT professional in an industrial setting, preferably from a regulated business
• Hands‑on experience of CI/CD pipeline management, code versioning, software testing, etc. and technical documentation
• Excellent written and spoken Finnish, excellent written and spoken English
• Fluent with Python, SQL and C#

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• AI/ML applications, PBI
• Laboratory Information Management System
• Technical documentation
