Are you interested in software products that support the daily operations of hundreds of companies? Innovoice, a Finnish provider of ERP systems, is now looking for a software developer to support its growth and strengthen its development team.
Founded in 2010, Innovoice provides ERP and invoicing software specifically for the needs of car service and repair shops as well as towing companies. The efficiency, speed, and ease of use of the products enable repair shops to manage work orders and towing companies to manage waybills flexibly within their own systems. The cornerstone of Innovoice's success is an understanding of customer needs and the long-term development of products.
Innovoice's products currently streamline and automate the daily processes and operations of over 1,000 service companies. The heart of the product is a web-based desktop application and a mobile application designed for towing companies. The product's backend technology is primarily PHP. The frontend is built using JavaScript and TypeScript, and React and React Native are used in the development of the mobile application. Innovoice emphasizes agile practices and uses Claude to streamline work.
As a software developer, you will join a technical team of five people. The team's experience level ranges from a couple of years to over a decade, and the focus of development work is on comprehensive fullstack development of the product. Your work will consist of developing and maintaining existing functions and implementing new features. Initially, you will familiarize yourself with the product through smaller development tasks, but as your understanding of the industry, operating environment, and system entity deepens, you will be able to participate more strongly in the design and development of solutions together with sales, customer service, and the rest of the development team. The work focuses on the development of both the web-based application and the mobile application for towing companies.
The developer we are looking for has at least a few years of work experience in software development and a desire to work in a product house where customer-centric and long-term development, technical quality, and understanding of users' daily lives are emphasized. You are also not averse to maintenance work or developing existing solutions, you value high-quality code, and you can conceptualize the overall architecture.
We hope that your experience has been gained particularly in PHP and JavaScript development and that you have solid experience with relational databases. You have a desire to work as part of an agile team and experience in utilizing AI tools to support your own work.
In this permanent and full-time position, you will be employed directly by Innovoice. Innovoice's office is located in the center of Helsinki, and to maintain a strong teamwork culture, we hope you are willing to work at the office approximately three days a week. The salary for the position is between 4000-4500 €/month depending on your experience and will be negotiated on a candidate-by-candidate basis.
